PERFECT ESCAPE
Smithfield Cottage is a wonderful place to escape and relax. Peace and tranquillity in our quiet cottage, with tasteful décor and beautiful park- like surroundings.
This cottage is only 5 minutes from Central Ashburton with three bedrooms capable of sleeping six people. One double bedroom and two twin singles, one large main bathroom, laundry and iron facilities, compact fully-equipped modern kitchen, and own BBQ.
The cottage overlooks garden and rural paddocks.
After a day exploring all the local area has to offer, sit on the deck and be amazed by the beautiful “Southern Stars” and soak up the peace and quiet. In our information booklet we have restaurant recommendations for our fantastic local restaurants.
Smithfield Flowers is run from the property, flowers are grown from November through to May each year. Chrysanthemums are the main crop for this business. The growing area can be seen from Smithfield Cottage and from February to May the area is a visual feast of colour. Jo and Paul sell flowers from elsewhere on the property and Jo runs a floristy business where her beautiful bouquets can be purchased on order by the public.
